漱石先生　岡本一平画/肖像画一枚（額入）. 水彩　一幅. 「一平」ノ印記アリ/岡本一平は、大阪万国博(1970)のシンボル「太陽の塔」の制作で有名な岡本太郎の父、小説家岡本かの子の夫である。漱石とは大正3年に、最初の単独著作「探訪画趣」の序文を依頼したときから交際が始まった。朝日新聞を中心に漫画漫文形式の作品を数多く発表し、大正期の漫画界をリードした。

This collection consists of the literary legend Soseki Natsume's (1867-1916) former collection of books, handwritten materials such as his diary, notebooks, examination questions, and manuscripts, as well as other materials related to Soseki. This collection includes most of Soseki's former collection, including approximately 1,650 Foreign books and 1,200 Japanese and Chinese books.
