■ About content usage conditions

The usage conditions for the images and other content featured on our website vary for each piece of content. If you wish to use them for publication, broadcasting, or any other purpose, please adhere to the conditions specified for each respective content.

Please note that images of materials whose copyrights have expired in our collection may be used without specific permission under <Terms of Use>.
The scope of use includes copying, modification, distribution, posting, broadcasting, etc. for any purpose, whether commercial or non-commercial.

(1) Please write the name of the material and the fact that it is owned by the Tohoku University Library around the image you are using.
(2) Please note that images published by this museum on the Internet may be changed or replaced without prior notice.
(3) The museum is not responsible for any incidents arising from the use of images.
(4) If possible, please donate one copy of the published work to the following address, or if it is published on the Internet, please let us know the link URL.
Please note that when you donate publications, we may make them available for use within the library.

  • The metadata of search results can be exported in "CSV," "JSON," and "refer/BibIX (BIX)" formats.
  • The usage terms for the metadata of the main library's affiliated library content are CC BY. It is permissible to modify and use the content, including commercial use, under the condition of attributing it to "Tohoku University Library."
