[翻刻]菅公讃岐守として御在任中寛平元年久旱一滴の降雨なく国民優愁に沈む公深く是を慨し雨を城山に祈り給ふ天感應ふりて廿雨沛然三日三夜に及ふ国民蘇生歓喜湧躍手の舞足の蹈む所を知らず爾後之が奉賽の謝徳会として毎年舊暦七月廿五日瀧宮兩社前に奉納する古式なり｡

It is a large collection of approximately 108,000 books, containing materials from a wide range of fields, mainly composed of Japanese and Chinese classics. It is also known as "Encyclopedia of Classics" or "Treasure House of Edo Studies".
