[翻刻]震災記念堂 本所横網の被服廠跡にあります｡大正十二年の大震災のとき､こゝで殃死した三万餘人の精靈を合祀してあります｡工學博士伊藤忠太氏の設計によるもので､灰色のｺﾝｸﾘｰﾄ造りで､三重の塔を持つ納骨堂が附属してゐます｡香煙縷々として常に絶えず､参詣人の人々の哀愁をそゝっています｡

This book collection was previously owned by Kokichi Kano (1865-1942), a doctor of literature from Odate City, Akita Prefecture. It is a large collection of approximately 108,000 books, containing materials from a wide range of fields, mainly composed of Japanese and Chinese classics. It is also known as "Encyclopedia of Classics" or "Treasure House of Edo Studies".
