[内容]大島今子あて。送金への礼、下宿代のことなど。旅行中に大島が詠んだ短歌が付される。大島は9月19日〜10月2日の間、卒論準備のため岩手・宮城県の沿岸部に調査旅行を行っていた。それが終了した直後の書簡。封筒表に「旅中雑詠あり」と注記。
